Departure to Armenia

Check-out and transfer to Georgia–Armenia Border

Day 1/Tbilisi - Armenia Border - Haghpat Monastery - Sanahin Monastery - Yerevan

Depart from Tbilisi and drive towards the Armenia–Georgia border. Cross into Armenia border checkpoint. Continue to Haghpat Monastery, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, for a guided visit and photo stop. Continue to the nearby Sanahin Monastery, another UNESCO-listed site with deep historical and cultural significance. Proceed to Yerevan, the capital of Armenia. Evening sightseeing in Yerevan, including a visit to the Cascade Complex and Republic Square, beautifully lit at night. Overnight at the hotel in Yerevan.

Day 2/City Tour (Victory Park, Cascade complex, Blue Mosque)

Breakfast at the hotel, after which the city tour starts from the Victory Park, where a picturesque view of capital Yerevan opens. After walk through the Cascade Complex the building that now houses the Gafesjian Center for the Arts, which houses one of the best contemporary art collections in the Eastern Hemisphere. Then head to Blue Mosque dating back to the 18th century. Afterwards, walk to Opera House which is located at the heart of the capital Yerevan and North Avenue to reach Republic square the central city square of Yerevan. Optionally visit Ararat Brandy factory in Yerevan for brandy tasting & tour one of the oldest brandy factories in the region. Free time to do shopping (Open air market of Vernissage, where you can buy different Armenian souvenirs, Gold Suk, Dalma Mall, Yerevan Mall). Late in the evening, return to the hotel. Overnight at the hotel in Yerevan.

Day 3/Yerevan – Lake Sevan – Tsaghkadzor – Dilijan Old Town – Lake Parz – Yerevan

After the breakfast at the hotel Visit Lake Sevan, the highest sweat-water lake in the world and one of the largest lakes in Caucasus. Sevan is considered the jewel of mountainous Armenia. There you can take a walk towards Sevanavank, located on the Sevan Peninsula. Later head to Kecharis Monastery, founded in the XI century by Armenian Pahlavuni princes. The next stop will be at Tsaghkadzor Ropeway to enjoy the view of snowy Armenia. You can also take optional activities such as Zip line (optional), skiing, snowboarding, snow truck, etc. Then drive to Dilijan, otherwise referred to as "Armenian Switzerland" for its fantastic natural forests. Visit Old Dilijan and Lake Parz. Overnight at the hotel in Yerevan.

Day 4/Yerevan – Arch of Charents – Geghard Monastery – Garni Temple – Yerevan

After breakfast at the hotel start the tour and have a first stop near the Arch of Charents from where, the beautiful panoramic view of Ararat valley and Mount Ararat opens. After, continue to Geghard Monastery, dating back as far as 4th century AD, which reached its glory in 13th century. Geghard is one of the jewels of Armenian medieval architecture and is a UNESCO world heritage site. The monastery of Geghard contains a number of churches and tombs, most of them cut into the solid rock, which illustrate the very peak of Armenian medieval craftsmanship. Visit Symphony of Stones. Later head to Garni Temple, a unique masterpiece of Hellenistic architecture in Armenia. Optional Jeeping can be organized. In the evening, return to Yerevan. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 5/Yerevan – Khor Virap – Noravank – Areni Winery – Yerevan

After breakfast at the hotel start the tour to Khor Virap (optional). The monastery Khor Virap stands before the snowcapped flanks of Mount Ararat offering a spectacular view of the mountain. It is where Grigor Luisavorich (St. Gregory the Illuminator) was imprisoned for 13 years. Head toward Noravank monastery (13th century), boasting the best collection of khachkars (cross-stones). Then head to Areni Winery to taste different kinds of wines. Afterward, return to Yerevan. Overnight at the hotel in Yerevan.

Day 6/Transfer to the airport

Breakfast at the hotel. Check out from the hotel. Transfer to the airport. Departure.
